At first glance, this looks just like a DeLorean. But it's not.  This was originally made by a company called 'Code One Auto', who fabricated the car for promotional purposes.  It's actually a full scale fibreglass mock-up.

 

The purpose of this car was for a Back to the Future display in which the model would be suspended from the ceiling, simulating the flying DeLorean in Back to the Future 2. 

Rich Weissensel bought this car and developed it further, adding a number of DeLorean parts from his own inventory.

 

As you can see, the model is very realistic, and although it's not the real thing - all credit to Rich for the time, effort and money spent on this unique, and unusual, project!
